USAF SBIR Strategic Matching Program

Vana Solutions LLC is part of a select group of companies invited to participate under the SBIR Dual-Use Match program. The Air Force’s most recent Science and Technology (S&T) strategy document included the need for the USAF to “Develop and Deliver Transformational Strategic Capabilities.” The 2018 National Defense Strategy of the United States identified the need to develop the United States “National Security Innovation Base” which involves heavy reliance on dual-use solutions. To accomplish these objectives, strong partnerships must be developed between USAF end-users, USAF acquisition professionals, and the private-sector portion of the National Security Innovation Base. This funding option will catalyze those relationships to provide strategic USAF capability.

USAF SBIR Strategic Matching Program

The Air Force needs a strategy to streamline current processes to be predictable, drive accuracy, promote consistency, andempower users to perform their jobs in a timely and effective manner. Vana’s vKesi™ framework provides productivity gains through collaboration, agility in change control, leadership metrics and reporting, and adaptability to any process.

Our vKesi™ framework melds secure user collaboration, agency information, and organizational policies and procedures to provide an integrated operational view of the entire agency enterprise. This enterprise view allows for effective decision-making, information retention, and open systems integration. Therefore, our vKesi™framework aligns to several of the Strategic Capabilities of the USAF S&T, specifically Global Persistent Awareness, Resilient Information Sharing, and Rapid, Effective Decision-Making. The vKesi™ framework enables Global Persistent Awareness through the fusion of actors, processes, and data, which provides Resilient Information Sharing. Through visual aids, such as dashboards and metric reporting, and AI/ML potential, the vKesi™ framework enables Rapid, Effective Decision-Making providing knowledge awareness to leadership.
