Srujal Sheth | President/CEO
President/CEOAs Vana’s President and CEO, Srujal leads formulating and executing long-term strategies, and interacting with clients, employees and strategic partners. Srujal is Vana’s primary decision- and policy-maker, setting the tone for the company’s values, ethics and culture. She is a seasoned leader with deep expertise in developing strong client relationships, a passion for building an outstanding Vana Team to support customers and a disciplined focus on operations and execution. Srujal started Vana Solutions in 2005 with the simple concept of understanding and solving business driven challenges for its clients. Her approach is not just through technology, but by gaining a thorough understanding of the client’s business and then shaping their technology landscape and providing technology inspired solutions to ensure their success. Her professional experience includes consulting, IT, auditing and financial management. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Wright State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Srujal is an advocate for community engagement and has supported the following organizations:

Sunit Sheth | Product Innovation and Microsoft Technology Practice
CTO, Product Innovation and Microsoft Technology PracticeAs CTO, Sunit is Vana's visionary seeking out and implementing upcoming technologies and executing strategy. His collaborative nature coupled with a deep understanding of business requirements, makes him the ideal person to lead Vana's development efforts, both current and future. A technologist at heart, Sunit is always looking at technological advancements but maintains a focus on delivery and strong customer satisfaction. Along with Srujal, they have established and maintain Vana's company culture. Looking to the future, Sunit will guide Vana into niche markets utilizing emerging technologies such as AR, VR, and AI. Sunit obtained his Bachelor of Science in international economics from DePaul University in Chicago. He received his Master's Degree at Indiana University in Computer Science. In his spare time, Sunit enjoys tennis, video games, movies, and reading.
David Light | Cloud and Data Practice
Cloud and Data PracticeDavid joined Vana in 2010. With his experience in transitional processes, David started working with the public sector helping their digital transformation efforts. He spent 3 years working with the client helping translate their processes to and requirements. During this time, David led efforts to deliver a functional solution for multiple public sector organizations improving their IT capabilities with content management, process integrations, improvement, and automation. More recently, David has moved his focus to helping organizations during mergers and acquisitions come together by aligning business objectives and processes with IT capabilities and modernization. As a result, David has become an expert in cloud transformation strategy, including API delivery and security, Identity Management, and master data management. Prior to joining Vana, David spent seven years working for an organization in downtown Dayton serving many roles ranging from development to architecture and received invaluable experience working hand-in-hand with several business units. He graduated from Wright State University where he received a BS in Computer Science (Cum Laude) and is currently pursuing his MBA. David's personal time at the moment is spent planning his wedding and with their dog, Bella.
Gary Brown | Business Development
Business DevelopmentGary Brown is responsible for Federal Business Development and Capture for Vana Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for strategic business development, capture and proposal efforts. In addition, Brown works closely with the senior leadership team to meet the company’s aggressive strategic business objectives and drive growth across Vana’s markets. Gary brings more than 40 years of military business development, acquisition, systems engineering, systems hardware and software development to Vana Solutions, and has a diverse background of military and commercial experience. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from Wright State, Gary began his career at what is now AFRL as an engineer supporting R&D projects, including cockpit research and design focusing on avionic data bus and embedded computer hardware design and development. He spent the next 30 years in the government contract industry performing a diverse set of roles as flight test engineer for Raytheon and MDA, software developer for GE Aircraft, system architecture design and development for DoD supply chain and logistics business systems, and technical business development for various DoD firms including Softech, INET and MacAulay-Brown.
Linda Skinner | Contracts
ContractsLinda has more than 30 years of experience supporting and leading business operations within the functional areas of human resources, contract management, accounting/finance, contract security, quality management and facilities management. Linda has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from Park University and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Fisher/Nightingale Houses, Inc., which serves the Wright-Patterson AFB/Dayton VA community,and supports their annual All American Evening fundraiser as the Chair/Co-Chair for the Auction. She is a member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Greater Ohio Valley Women in Defense (WID) and The Society of Industrial Security Professionals (NCMS). In her spare time, Linda likes to cook, read and spend time with her family, including playing games with her three grandchildren. She also spends time volunteering at Church and preparing meals for a local shelter.
Todd Sample | Programs and Managed Services Practice
Programs and Managed Services PracticeTodd works closely with the customers and the Vana team to lead Vana's Program and Managed Services Practice. Todd has over 20 years of experience supporting and managing IT operations, infrastructure and security, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. Todd is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Technology First, and the Dayton/Miami Valley Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI). Todd enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and likes working outdoors, cycling, golf, swimming and making home improvements
Janna Fichera | Agile Practice
Agile PracticeJanna is an agile enthusiast who loves working with teams to optimize their results. She leads Vana's Agile Practice Office paving the way for project teams and organizations to enjoy success using the most effective agile processes and tools. She'll meet you anywhere you are along your agile journey and help you get to that next level. Janna has enjoyed over 25 years in the software space working with a myriad of companies in numerous industries from both commercial and government sectors. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Finance from Washington University, St. Louis with a minor in Computer Science Engineering. Janna lives in the Chicago area with her husband and 3 crazy kids. In her free time, Janna loves to spend time with those crazy kids, watch SEC football, or do anything out in the sun.
